Terms of Service

The terms that apply when accessing and using QRfarm.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of QRfarm, including its QR code generation, customization, preview, and download features.

By accessing or using QRfarm, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About QRfarm

QRfarm is a browser-based tool that allows users to create and customize static QR codes for content such as:

  • Website URLs
  • Plain text
  • Email addresses
  • Wi-Fi credentials
  • Phone numbers
  • SMS messages
  • Contact cards
  • Geographic locations

QRfarm also provides customization options such as colors, patterns, eye shapes, logos, borders, frames, and captions. Generated QR codes may be downloaded in supported formats, including PNG, SVG, PDF, and EPS.

2. Using the Service

You may use QRfarm for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law.

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the information encoded in your QR code is accurate
  • Confirming that you have permission to use any uploaded logo, image, trademark, or other material
  • Testing your QR code before printing, publishing, or distributing it
  • Maintaining sufficient contrast, image quality, size, and clear space for reliable scanning
  • Ensuring that linked websites and encoded content remain available, lawful, and secure

QRfarm does not control or maintain websites, files, telephone numbers, email addresses, locations, or other destinations referenced by generated QR codes.

3. Browser-Based Processing

QR code generation and customization are designed to take place directly in your browser. Content entered into the generator is not required to be sent to our server to create the QR code.

Normal technical requests may still occur when you access the website, such as requests needed to load pages, scripts, fonts, images, and other website assets. Server infrastructure may also process ordinary technical information as described in our Privacy Policy.

You should avoid entering sensitive or confidential information unless you understand that anyone who scans the resulting QR code may be able to access the encoded content.

4. Static QR Codes

QRfarm creates static QR codes. The encoded content is stored directly within the QR code image.

Static QR codes do not expire solely because they were generated using QRfarm. However, they may stop working as intended if:

  • The linked website or resource becomes unavailable
  • The encoded information is no longer valid
  • The QR code is damaged, distorted, resized improperly, or printed with insufficient contrast
  • A third-party scanner or device cannot interpret the selected design
  • A destination is blocked, restricted, changed, or removed

Once a static QR code has been created, its encoded content cannot be remotely changed through QRfarm.

5. Downloads and Export Formats

QRfarm may provide QR code downloads in raster and vector formats.

Although QR code modules, frames, captions, and other supported elements may be exported as vector graphics in SVG, PDF, or EPS files, uploaded raster images or logos may remain rasterized within those files.

Appearance may vary between browsers, operating systems, design programs, PDF readers, printers, and EPS-compatible applications. You are responsible for checking exported files before production use.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use QRfarm to create, distribute, promote, or facilitate content that:

  • Violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  • Contains malware, phishing pages, deceptive redirects, or harmful software
  • Facilitates fraud, impersonation, identity theft, or unauthorized access
  • Promotes violence, exploitation, abuse, or illegal activities
  • Misleads users about the identity, purpose, or destination of a QR code
  • Attempts to interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or compromise the service
  • Circumvents security measures or access restrictions
  • Uses automated systems in a manner that materially disrupts the website

We may restrict access to QRfarm when we reasonably believe the service is being used unlawfully, abusively, or in violation of these Terms.

7. User Content and Uploaded Materials

You retain ownership of the content, logos, images, and other materials you provide.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary to use those materials. You are solely responsible for claims arising from content you enter, upload, encode, publish, or distribute through a QR code.

You authorize QRfarm to process and display your submitted materials within your browser to the extent necessary to provide the requested generation, customization, preview, and export functions.

8. Intellectual Property

The QRfarm website, interface, branding, source materials, design elements, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except where expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from the QRfarm website or its proprietary components.

These Terms do not restrict your use of QR code files that you lawfully generate and download through the service.

Third-party names, logos, icons, trademarks, and service marks remain the property of their respective owners. Their availability within QRfarm does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation.

9. Third-Party Services and Destinations

QR codes generated through QRfarm may direct users to third-party websites, applications, platforms, maps, messaging services, or other resources.

QRfarm does not control and is not responsible for:

  • Third-party content or availability
  • Privacy or security practices of third parties
  • Changes made to external services
  • Transactions conducted through third-party destinations
  • Damage or loss resulting from third-party content or services

You should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party service you use.

10. Service Availability and Changes

We may modify, update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of QRfarm at any time.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The service will always be available or uninterrupted
  • Every feature will work with every browser, device, scanner, or design application
  • Exported files will meet every printer or production requirement
  • QR codes will remain readable after modification by third-party software
  • Errors or compatibility issues will always be corrected immediately

Where practical, we may provide notice of material changes, but we are not obligated to maintain any specific feature or export format indefinitely.

11. No Warranties

QRfarm is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, compatibility, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not guarantee that a generated QR code will scan successfully in every environment. Lighting, printing quality, surface material, color contrast, size, damage, camera quality, scanning software, and design choices may affect readability.

Always test QR codes with multiple devices before publishing or printing them in significant quantities.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QRfarm and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of—or inability to use—the service.

This includes loss resulting from:

  • Incorrect or outdated encoded information
  • Unreadable or improperly printed QR codes
  • Broken or unavailable destination links
  • Lost business, revenue, data, or opportunities
  • Unauthorized use of generated QR codes
  • Third-party services or applications
  • Production, printing, or distribution costs

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless QRfarm and its operators from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the service
  • Content or materials you submit or upload
  • QR codes you create or distribute
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable law or third-party rights

14. Privacy

Your use of QRfarm is also subject to our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how technical and personal information may be handled when you access the website or contact us.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to QRfarm when reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect the security or availability of the service
  • Prevent unlawful or abusive use
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Enforce these Terms
  • Protect users, third parties, or QRfarm

Sections that should reasonably survive termination—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and indemnification—will remain effective.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as QRfarm changes or as required for legal, operational, or security reasons.

The revised version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of QRfarm after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The affected provision will be interpreted or adjusted only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable under applicable law.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of QRfarm, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute relating to these Terms or the service will be handled by a court or authority having jurisdiction under applicable law. Mandatory consumer protection rights available in your country or region remain unaffected.
